The boston fern is quite the popular fern species that can be kept as a housplant. They bring a tropical vibe to your indoor or outdoor environment. These ferns are often used to brighten up patios and shady areas with its astonishing sword shaped leaves.

  • Light: The boston fern grows best in areas that are exposed to bright indirect sunlight. Too much sun can burn them while too little will make them appear lacklustered. The ideal place for these ferns are at the front porch where it can receive filtered morning sun and get afternoon shade.

    Soil: Use well drained soil that is organically rich. 

    Water: Keep soil lightly moist but not soggy. When the plant is grown inside, weekly watering is required while outside, it need more frequent waterings.
