Hens & Chicks are a low growing succulent perennial that looks almost like a rubbery rose. The Cobweb exhibits fleshy green leaves that is adorned with cobwebby white hair at their tips. The mother rosette(Hen) in the center will spread offsets(Chicks) in all directions and later on grown roots of their own to become an individual plant themselves. During the summertime, a thick flowering stalk will rise from the center of the hen rosette and bear a pink/purple flower.
