The helleborus with its leathery leaves and astonishing blooms makes a happy addition to your garden. They are among the earliest perennials to bloom, welcoming everyone in the spring with their rose like blossoms.  


  • Light: These perennials prefer partial to full shade during the hot summer months but require more sunlight during the winter season.  

    Soil: Well drained soil with rich organic matter that is on the neutral or even alkaline side. 

    Water: Do not allow helleborus to sit in wet soil for a prolonged time or they will rot. water once the soil is completly dry.
