Light: All types of tulips prefer full sun. Areas under trees that are shady during the summer tend to be mostly sunny during the spring season which are ideal for them to grow.
Soil: Tulips prefer rich, well drained soil with a ph of 6-7. Mixing in compost can benefit the drainage and provide nutrients to the bulbs.
Water: After planting these bulb plants, water immediately. Watering once a week should be enough but depending on how often it rains in your region, if rain occurs every week or two, do not water your tulips at all.
